The short version
This website does not ask you for any information, and it has no forms to fill in. There is nothing to sign up for, no account to create, and no newsletter. Nothing you do here is stored on a server belonging to this site.
What this site collects
Nothing that identifies you. The site is a set of static files — there is no database and no application collecting or storing visitor information.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies unless you agree to analytics below. Two things are saved in your own browser’s local storage, not as cookies: your light or dark appearance preference, and your answer to the cookie question. Both stay on your device, are never sent anywhere, and are not readable by us or anyone else.
Your consent choice is recorded for a year, after which you will be asked again. Recording that you said no is the one piece of storage that needs no permission of its own — the alternative would be asking you the same question on every page.
Analytics
This site can use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It is off until you agree. If you have not answered the cookie question, or you answered no, Google Analytics is never loaded at all: no request is made to Google, no cookie is set, and nothing about your visit is recorded.
If you do agree, Google Analytics sets its own cookies and receives your IP address, the pages you view and general information about your device. It is used only to understand how the site is being read, never to identify you personally, and the information is not sold or shared. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which removes your stored answer and brings the question back.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare records basic request information — such as IP address, browser type and the page requested — for security and to keep the service running. Those records belong to Cloudflare and are handled under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We do not read them or combine them with anything else.
Content from other places
A small number of pages include material hosted elsewhere — for example a YouTube video. When you open a page containing an embed, that third party may receive your IP address and set its own cookies, exactly as if you had visited it directly. Their terms apply to that content, not ours.
Links to other websites, including Facebook and YouTube, are provided for convenience. Once you follow a link, you are on someone else’s site and their privacy policy governs what happens next.
If you write to naleng at nalengreal dot com, your message and your email address are used to reply to you and for nothing else. They are not added to a mailing list and are not shared.
Children
This site is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If what this site does changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top will tell you when.
